We firmly believe in a work hard, play hard approach to staying fit and healthy, which is why our gym and spa membership also includes full access to our vitality suite. Our fitness suite and pool offer the ultimate tone up and workout combo open from 6.00am to 10.00pm, 365 days a year. Tired muscles can be soothed away in the vitality pool or with a spell in the steam room, or better still, with an advanced massage.

Facilities

Fitness Suite

The fitness suite is available for the use of hotel guests and people with membership. Kitted out with state-of-the-art Pulse cardiovascular and resistance equipment, many of the facilities – treadmills, upright and recumbent lifecycles and cross trainers – have personal TV screens to entertain you whilst you train as well as internet access so you can Tweet whilst you workout or get inspired with workout from YouTube.

Peloton Bikes

Our fitness suite has two Peloton Bikes which are free to use for members and hotel guests. Join a workout and compete with others through fitness games to achieve your goals.

Personal Training

Fistral Spa Personal Training sessions will ensure your time in the gym is used to the max! Whether you are training to improve sports performance or it’s your first time in the gym, our personal trainers will ensure that all of your exercises are executed correctly from the start. It can take just 300 repetitions to master a new movement but it’ll take 3000 to correct bad technique. Through regular training, we can help improve your posture, tone, agility, strength and endurance. But above all, we can help you feel better every day. So whether you are looking to lose weight, improve your time in the surf or simply maintain your current levels of wellness, we can help.

Personal Training sessions cost £20 for an hour. Group Personal Training sessions are also available with up to 4 people per session, please contact us on 01637 852221 for prices and availability.

Fitness Classes

Our group Fitness Classes are included in our full Gym and Spa Membership or are free to join for guests staying at Fistral Beach Hotel and Spa. From boxing, HIIT, spin and kettlebells to yoga, Pilates and breathwork, our timetable is filled with sessions to help you to build strength, improve mobility and unwind. Simply book your place at spa reception (members can also book via their online profile).

Vitality Suite

Our Vitality Suite includes a heated 11m pool, hot tub, steam room and sauna, all designed to help you unwind after a heavy gym session, or warm up after a Atlantic ocean surf session! The heated Vitality Pool is at the heart of Fistral Spa and is a relaxing place to take a dip, do some lengths and forget the pressures of the outside world.

  • Access

    Hotel residents, members and spa guests have access to the facilities, unfortunately we don't offer a day-pass. As an adults only hotel, a haven of tranquillity is achieved.

    If you are staying locally in Newquay and wish to use our Spa or Gym facilities whilst you are visiting, you can purchase a 7 day pass - £30 for Gym Membership or £60 for Gym and Spa Membership. Spa treatments can be booked additionally.
